Senior Expense Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Expense Accountant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $34.00 to $37.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable operations by reviewing invoices, payment requests, and vendor transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage payment processing activities while ensuring timely approvals, disbursements, and financial record maintenance.
• Prepare bank reconciliations, account analyses, and financial schedules to support accurate reporting.
• Assist with monthly financial reporting, audit preparation, and documentation requests from internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner with accounting leadership to improve processes, maintain controls, and support special projects and operational initiatives.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
• Bring experience in accounts payable, expense accounting, or general accounting within a professional environment.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of invoice processing, account reconciliations, and financial reporting practices.
• Possess advanced proficiency with spreadsheet applications and accounting software systems.
• Maintain the ability to manage multiple priorities independently while meeting deadlines and organizational objectives.
