CGP - Sr. Accountant

Century Group is partnering with our client that is seeking a Senior Accountant - Operations to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $37.00 to $46.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:

• Voucher and validate metal receipts, resolving discrepancies related to non-receipt, pricing, or purchase orders.
• Coordinate with plants and vendors to resolve incorrect Advance Shipping Notification transmissions.
• Communicate and resolve payment discrepancies with Procurement and metal vendors.
• Prepare metal price variance analysis for customer pass-through and present findings to Sourcing & Pricing.
• Process mill/vendor claims, lead collection efforts, and prepare monthly executive reporting decks.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Possess a minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or inventory accounting.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Showcase strong organizational, follow-up, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Have experience with various software packages; JD Edwards preferred.

• Maintain a highly time-disciplined and detail-oriented approach to work.
• Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills.
• Work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
• Assist the Operations Accounting team with ad hoc accounting assignments and projects.
• Support cost accounting with standard cost revisions.
