CGP Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base pay rate $35.00 to $45.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with various accounting projects and tasks.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other financial accounts.
• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts for future financial performance.
• Handle grant funding processes, including managing the end of current grants and securing new funding.

• Have experience in the non-profit industry.
• Be hands-on and proactive in accounting tasks.
• Understand and manage grant funding, including three large grants from the same funder.
• Be proficient in using MIP accounting software and assist in its cleanup.
• Be comfortable managing a significant budget and collaborating with the Controller.

• Have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Possess non-profit industry experience.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Show proficiency in managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other financial accounts.
• Exhibit excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
