We are seeking an experienced Audit Consultant to assist our rapidly expanding client's team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in nonprofit auditing, particularly with A133 audits, and will be able to start immediately with no training required. This is a temporary assignment. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $45 to $50 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and assist with the A133 audit.
- Analyze financial reports, including net assets and trial balance, for discrepancies.
- Perform net asset reconciliation.
- Manage grant receivables and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare and review Form 990 and single audit documentation.
- Improve existing policies and procedures to enhance financial operations.
- Proven experience in nonprofit auditing, specifically A133 audits.
- Extensive experience with Financial Edge software.
- Demonstrated ability to improve financial policies and procedures.
- Strong background in grant receivables and net asset reconciliation.
- Ability to work independently and start immediately without training.
