CFO / Vice President of FinanceThis role will report directly to the CEO and serves as a core member of a five-person senior leadership team. This is a hands-on, visible leadership position with direct access to the Board Finance Committee and no system-level oversight layers.The CFO will lead financial operations through a planned retirement transition and will drive optimization of newly implemented systems and workflows, including Epic integration.A CEO succession pathway exists for the right candidate motivated by long-term organizational leadership (5–6 year horizon). The organization operates two off-site family medicine clinics, home health, hospice, certified community behavioral health services, and an ambulance service.Burgess is not affiliated with or managed by a large health system. Governance and decision-making are local. A $20M facility renovation and expansion was completed in 2024.
Core financial systems have been recently upgraded; Epic go-live is scheduled for September 2025.This position is one of three Board-appointed officers authorized to legally represent and act on behalf of the organization.Talent Company is retained exclusively for this search.
