Chief Financial Officer Growth-Stage Consumer Brand | PE-Backed | Hybrid

The Opportunity: A high-growth, PE-backed consumer brand is hiring its first institutional CFO to partner with the founder-CEO and board. The company has scaled rapidly across DTC and wholesale with a loyal customer base and strong category positioning. This is a build role: stand up the finance function, drive operating discipline, and prepare the business for its next phase of growth.

What You'll Own

• Build and lead the finance, accounting, and FP&A function from the ground up
• Monthly close, GAAP financials, board reporting, and audit readiness
• Cash flow planning, working capital management, and inventory financing
• Partner with operations on COGS, unit economics, channel P&Ls, and margin expansion
• Develop investor and lender relationships; support future capital raises and strategic transactions
• Establish the forecasting and KPI cadence to scale the business toward $500M+

What You Bring

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership, with CFO or VP Finance experience at a $50M to $250M consumer brand
• Direct experience in beauty, wellness, food and beverage, or other branded DTC categories
• Track record building finance teams inside founder-led, PE- or VC-backed environments
• Strong technical accounting foundation or investment banking background
• Comfortable operating in the weeds and engaging at the board level
• Translates financial complexity into clear narrative for non-finance leaders

Compensation: Base up to $295K, performance bonus, and meaningful equity. Comprehensive benefits.
