Overview As a Senior Manager in our CFO Advisory - Accounting Advisory practice, you guide engagements on technical accounting, new standards adoption, and financial reporting while mentoring junior staff. You'll engage with client leadership, help drive growth, and contribute to a fast-paced, client-focused culture. The role emphasizes leadership, integrity, and delivering high-quality advisory services. You will work on complex issues such as IPO readiness, GAAP conversions, and processes optimization.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver accounting advisory services including technical accounting, new standards implementation, reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and on-demand accounting support
• Direct activities of junior professionals, participate in engagement discussions with client leadership, and assist with drafting deliverables
• Participate in all stages of engagements: planning, fieldwork, wrap-up, and deliverable composition
• Maintain strong client focus and build relationships with key client personnel to achieve objectives
• Leverage automation and digital processes to drive performance improvements and reduce bottlenecks
• Advise on accounting system selection and implementation by aligning processes and engaging technology partners

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and strong understanding of US GAAP
• 7+ years of experience in public accounting or industry with audit, accounting or consulting background
• Experience with technical accounting and understanding of accounting processes and internal controls
• Interest in technical accounting matters and ability to navigate complex client assignments
• CPA and/or MBA preferred; proven experience scoping, presenting, and selling engagements
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to adapt messaging for various audiences
