Responsibilities
- Work with long-term care facilities in a designated territory to assist with wound assessments and treatment decisions.
- Monitor proper application and utilization of wound-care products.
- Understand Medicare documentation and reimbursement guidelines.
- Educate facility staff on documentation that meets federal and state requirements.
- Order wound-care products through the internal system “FastCare” for residents to receive their products.
- Support facilities’ wound-care programs by assisting with tracking, documentation, and understanding of wound-care product coverage guidelines.
Requirements
- Valid healthcare license (RN, LPN, PT, OTR‑L, DPM, or similar) preferred but could be certified in the first year of hire.
- Exemplary customer service skills.
- Business savvy, sales-minded.
- Self‑starter and work independently.
- Hard‑working and motivated.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Live in the area designated and be willing to travel on a daily basis.
