Director Of Concrete Testing LabWe are searching for a qualified individual to take on the role of Director of a certified concrete testing lab/specialty inspection agency based in western Suffolk County. Projects are throughout the 5 boroughs and Long Island and are transportation only. The Director will be professionally qualified and shall personally supervise all technical functions of the lab relating to testing of concrete & concrete materials.
In addition, this person will be in charge of special inspections. Ideal candidate will:Be a Professional Engineer (PE)--civil or structuralOR a Registered ArchitectHave ACI Field AND ACI Lab certificationMinimum of 5 years documented experienceFor specific requirements please refer to 1 RCNY Sec 5-02; Chapter 5 Concrete. Individuals who have their own testing company are welcome to apply.
Work load will fluctuate as needed, depending upon schedule of testing. Salary commensurate with experience.
