Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary scrub tech during surgeries
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments in compliance with sterile technique standards
- Assist surgeons and RNs intra-operatively
- Maintain accurate surgical counts and ensure safety and efficiency
- Support robotic-assisted and minimally invasive procedures
- Participate in rotating on-call shifts (must be within 30 minutes of facility when on call)
- 2+ years of Certified Surgical Tech (CST) experience preferred
- Previous experience in acute care or hospital operating room setting
- Exposure to orthopedic surgery , neurosurgery , vascular procedures , and robotics (Da Vinci systems) highly valued
- Ability to work rotating day, evening, night shifts , and be on-call as needed
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instruments, and perioperative processes
- CST Certification - Required
- High School Diploma or Vocational School Graduate
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - must be obtained within 30 days of start
- Knowledge of AORN standards and operating room best practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Days:
- 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hr)
- 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (10-hr)
- 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM (12-hr)
- 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM (10-hr)
