Certified Senior Data Engineer

To support a remote team, the contract Senior Data Engineer will manage the development, testing, and deployment of scalable data architectures and pipelines, ensuring robust data solutions for enterprise decision-making over an 18-month period. Key responsibilities: Architect, design, and implement data pipelines and solutions using ETL and ELT processes across cloud infrastructure Develop and support scalable, fault-tolerant data architectures within Azure SQL, SQL MI, and Azure Synapse platforms Create analytic dashboards and reports using Microsoft PowerBI, ensuring effective data visualization and analysis Required qualifications: A minimum of four years of experience in authoring and monitoring data pipelines, or eight years with a relevant degree At least five years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer in a lead role, focusing on data architecture and modeling Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server SSIS and Microsoft Azure Data Factory for ETL and ELT solutions Current Microsoft certifications, including Microsoft Azure Data Engineer or similar Experience developing solutions that include Python components and financial data analysis
