Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Opportunity!

Position Overview

Bluebird Staffing is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a dedicated healthcare team in Glendive, Montana. Operating in a critical access hospital environment, the CRNA will independently administer anesthesia, monitor patient vital signs, and manage patient recovery. In this role, the Nurse Anesthetist will work with a high degree of autonomy to support and assist surgeons or other physicians during a variety of medical procedures.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule

• The Rotation: 2 weeks on (Mon–Fri, 0700–1500) followed by 1 full week OFF .
• The Perk: Surgeries usually wrap up around 1300. Once they're done, you are free to leave early!
• The Guarantee: Even when you leave early, you are guaranteed a full 40-hour paycheck every pay period.
• Note: Includes rotating on-call and weekend shifts.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to perform or manage regional anesthetic techniques such as local, spinal, epidural, caudal, nerve blocks and intravenous blocks.
• Exercise critical thinking and decisive judgment to practice independently with minimal supervision.
• Advanced, independent nursing capabilities with demonstrated expertise in anesthesia, critical care, and patient management.
• Monitor patient vital signs and oversee post-anesthesia recovery.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate, efficient patient charting and documentation.
• Maintain complete competence within established Anesthesia Clinical Privileges.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program.
• Current CRNA license in the state of Montana (or obtains prior to the start date).
• Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) credential.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
