Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Responsibilities

• Perform preoperative assessments and develop anesthesia care plans.
• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care as appropriate.
• Continuously monitor patients physiological status throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing staff, and perioperative teams.
• Participate in a culture focused on safety, quality improvement, and patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program.
• Current, unencumbered New York State Registered Nurse and/or APRN license.
• Board certification or eligibility as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and high-quality patient care.
