Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult and Pediatric
Setting: Acute Care Hospital / Level I Trauma Center
Responsibilities: Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General Surgery, GYN, Endoscopy, and Pediatrics
Required Procedures: Level I Trauma experience required
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: Medical Direction (loosely)
Days Per Month: Full-time; 40 hours/week guaranteed
On-Call/Weekends: No call; weekend availability required
Additional Details:
- 6 12 month contracts with option to extend
- No 24-hour shifts
- No cardiac and no OB
- OT after scheduled shift
- Must be available to work full-time and Fridays
- 5 8-hour or 5 10-hour shifts
- Must have Level I Trauma experience
- Locum CRNAs receive the same permissions/access as permanent providers
- Flexible with RTO requests
- Carilion-specific skills checklist required
- Travel covered, including airfare, lodging, and rental car, or travel stipend up to $3,500/month
- Client responsible for application fees and credentialing/privileging costs
Requirements:
- Board Certified
- Active Virginia license or Compact accepted
- Willing to obtain Virginia license - Yes
- Level I Trauma experience - Required
