Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

This locum tenens position offers a diverse range of cases, including general, orthopedic, and obstetric, with a flexible day shift schedule. Candidates will be part of a dynamic team with MD oversight, providing comprehensive anesthesia care and engaging in pre-anesthesia assessments, patient monitoring, and clinical interventions.

• Schedule: Day shift (8 or 10 hours), Monday-Friday
• Patient Population: All Ages
• Location: Olean, NY
• Stipends: Car rental/mileage and lodging/housing stipend available

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain/verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Carry out induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor the patient's physiological condition
• Perform clinical interventions as needed

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

• Day shift, Monday-Friday
• Optional overtime and on-call pager duties during weeknights and weekends

• Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly Epic
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
