Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

CRNA Opportunity - Location: Machias, ME - Bangor 85m - Full-time, permanent position Compensation & Incentives: - $375,000 annual salary - $75,000 sign-on bonus Position Overview: Seeking an experienced CRNA to deliver the full spectrum of anesthesia care across a variety of clinical settings. This role includes working autonomously while collaborating with surgical and medical teams to ensure safe, effective anesthesia management during the perioperative period.

Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans (ASA Class I V) - Deliver general and regional anesthesia for surgical, OB, and emergency cases - Monitor, evaluate, and adjust anesthesia throughout procedures - Manage airway and perform vascular access procedures - Participate in newborn, pediatric, and adult resuscitation as needed - Provide education to hospital staff and assist with equipment maintenance - Serve as a clinical leader in emergent situations - Attend required meetings, maintain documentation, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives Requirements: - Active and unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Maine - Master s degree in Nurse Anesthesia (Doctorate preferred) - BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required - Strong leadership, autonomy, and clinical decision-making skills - Minimum of 10 days of call per month - Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and in a collaborative team environment Compliance & Quality: - Participate in departmental and hospital-wide Quality Improvement programs - Follow all compliance regulations and hospital safety protocols - Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies
