Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Join a leading medical facility in Lubbock, TX, as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist specializing in Neonatology. This locum tenens opportunity involves providing care in an inpatient setting with no night call required. You will work a one-week schedule each month, focusing on lower-acuity patients in a regular NICU unit.

• Schedule: Monday-Sunday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, one week per month
• Patient Population: Pediatric (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)
• Location: Lubbock, TX

• Deliver anesthesia care and support to neonates in a NICU setting
• Perform routine procedures, including lumbar punctures, arterial line placements, and central line insertions
• Manage airways and conduct intubations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care

• Active or IMLC license
• Board Certified
• Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP required
• Completion of recent procedural competencies (within the past 24 months) in lumbar punctures, arterial and central lines, chest tube insertion, and intubations

• Shift Times: 8-hour daytime shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Minimum Shifts Required: One week per month

• Proficient in neonatal procedural care and anesthesia administration
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
• Adaptable to a busy NICU environment with up to 35 patient encounters per shift
