Position Type: Locum Tenens (Call Required)

Location: New Mexico

Credentialing: All providers must be fully credentialed and enrolled prior to the start date.

Clinical Requirements & Scope
  • Experience: Must be Board Certified (BC) with at least one year of experience .
  • Practice Setting: Must be comfortable practicing independently.
  • Procedures: Must be proficient in performing regional blocks. Training for blocks will not be provided, and candidates must submit case logs of blocks performed.
  • Schedule: Must be willing to work weekends and take call.
  • Certifications Required: ACLS, PALS, and BLS.
  • Preferred Skillsets (Not Mandatory): Pediatric Dentistry experience & Ultrasound-Guided Regional Blocks.
Licensure & Compliance
  • State License: Must have an active New Mexico (NM) license or an active reactivation in progress (New licenses take 6 months; reactivations take 3 months). IMLC letter numbers are not accepted in place of a license number.
  • Malpractice/COI: Providers must be enrolled in the New Mexico Patient Compensation Fund (PCF) .
  • Background: Presentations must fully explain any gaps in service, malpractice claims, or board sanctions.
Provider Radius Restrictions
  • Mileage Limit: Provider must live 90+ miles away from the facility. Local candidates within 90 miles will not be considered.
