Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Seeking an experienced CRNA for a locum tenens anesthesia job in Eureka, California. Join a collaborative anesthesia care team providing high-quality general anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients while enjoying the scenic Redwood Coast, beautiful forests, coastal views, and vibrant local community.

• Location: Eureka, CA
• Opportunity Type: Locum tenens CRNA position
• Coverage Dates: November 23-29, 2026, excluding November 26; and December 7-11, 2026
• Schedule: 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days with a 1-hour lunch
• Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours per day
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $9,240-$9,740
• Expected Patient Volume: Approximately 8 patient encounters per shift
• Call: Not required
• Potential Extension: Additional CRNA coverage opportunities may be available

• Current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification and authorization to practice in California
• At least 1 year of recent CRNA experience
• Board certification or board eligibility, as applicable
• Active DEA registration
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Current CV and completed credentialing materials
• Demonstrated clinical proficiency in adult and pediatric general anesthesia

• Administer general anesthesia to adult and pediatric patients
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
• Monitor patients throughout anesthetic procedures and recovery
• Manage ventilation and respond promptly to changes in patient status
• Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure changes
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other members of the procedural care team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards
