Seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Float position between Clare, Gladwin, and West Branch, Michigan
Independent CRNA practice model
One to two business days for orientation and proctoring
Monday-Friday schedule
8-hour shifts: 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Open to candidates interested in working four 10-hour shifts instead of a traditional Monday-Friday schedule
Two weeks on / two weeks off schedule accepted (must include weekend call between the two working weeks)
Two providers with complementary schedules preferred
Call primarily based in Clare
No OB call
1-hour response time for call
Call rotation approximately 1:3
One to two holidays per year
Weeknight call until 11:00 p.m.
Weekend call: 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Cases include:
Bread-and-butter general surgery
Endoscopy
Laparoscopic abdominal procedures
Ophthalmology (cataracts)
Podiatry
Limited orthopedics (includes blocks)
Occasional vascular procedures
Cardiology (TEE and cardioversions)
General anesthesia, MAC, and regional anesthesia
Blocks optional (refresher training available)
ED and inpatient support (IV access, airway management, provider assistance)
GI procedures performed only in Gladwin
Patient mix:
80-90% outpatient
10-20% inpatient
EMR: Epic
Active Michigan CRNA license required
ACLS, PALS, and BLS required
Must have provided anesthesia services for at least 75 patients within the past 12 months
Credentialing averages 30 days
