Full-Time 40-Hour Week Optional Call Opportunities Mixed Inpatient & Outpatient Scope
Are you a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist seeking a stable, long-term locum tenens contract in central Michigan? A premier regional medical center in Clare is seeking two (with potential for three) skilled CRNAs for an initial 6-month contract starting ASAP, with high potential to extend. Offering a full-time 40-hour work week, an MDA-supervised team model, optional call duties, and travel/lodging support, this position provides an outstanding assignment opportunity.
The OpportunityStep into an established hospital setting, collaborating within a medically directed team-based care model across both inpatient and surgical suite environments.
Clinical Scope: Deliver comprehensive general and regional anesthesia care across a varied surgical caseload (70% Inpatient / 30% Outpatient ), including:
General Surgery, Endoscopy, OB/GYN, and Orthopedics
Pain Management, Urology, Vascular, Thoracic, and Healthy Pediatrics
Autonomous handling of spinals, epidurals, arterial lines, and central/venous catheters
Executing order entry and clinical documentation via Epic EMR
Procedural Preferences: Nerve block proficiency is preferred but optional.
The Schedule: Full-time weekday schedule totaling 40 hours per week (full-time availability strongly preferred; schedule flexibility based on department needs).
Call Obligations: Call is optional and not required. Optional weeknight and weekend call coverage is available for interested providers.
Assignment Duration: 6-month initial contract with strong potential to extend.
All candidate submissions must include a gapless CV (Month/Year format) and verified 12-month case logs.
Board Certification & Education: Active NBCRNA Certification and a Master s Degree.
Licensure: Active, unencumbered Michigan State CRNA License required at the time of submission.
Life Support: Active AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
Case Logs & Experience: Minimum 1 year of post-grad experience and documented case logs showing at least 75 cases within the past 12 months .
Procedural Skills: Verified competency in spinals, epidurals, arterial lines, and central lines.
Compliance: Clean OIG and background; candidate must not have been presented to the health system within the past 12 months.
