Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anesthesiology and critical care, with the ability to provide high-quality patient care across various settings. This role requires expertise in patient assessment, airway management, and medication administration, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing anesthesia.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures, ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and performing physical examinations.
- Monitor patients\' vital signs and overall condition throughout the procedure, making necessary adjustments to anesthesia as required.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to develop individualized anesthesia care plans based on patient needs and procedural requirements.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital policies.
- Provide pain management solutions for patients preoperatively, intraoperatively, and postoperatively.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems, including Epic, for efficient patient management and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to NCQA standards and best practices in anesthesia care.
Requirements
- AANA Board Certification - Required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification - Required
- Possession of a valid Michigan license at the time of submission - Required
- Demonstrated experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with proficiency in regional blocks and obstetric anesthesia - Required
- Providers must be enrolled in Michigan Medicaid/CHAMPS at the time of presentation - Required
