To support a growing client base, a Georgia Licensed Virtual Accountant will analyze and reconcile year-end accounting, prepare tax returns, and communicate with clients, working remotely in a part-time or full-time capacity. Key responsibilities Analyzing and reconciling year-end accounting and preparing client workpapers Preparing and posting adjusting journal entries, as well as monthly and quarterly tax returns Communicating with clients regarding questions, requests, and tax notices Required qualifications An accounting degree is required, with experience in public accounting firms during tax season Experience in preparing both individual and business income tax returns is mandatory Intermediate knowledge of QuickBooks (desktop and online), MS Excel, and Word is required Fast internet access and the ability to work on PCs are necessary Previous virtual experience is a plus
