Please click here to learn more about our locations.Job DescriptionWe currently have an opportunity available for a Per Diem Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist to join our Pediatric Orthotics and Prosthetics team. This position is responsible for fabricating a variety of orthoses for inpatients and outpatients as prescribed by the medical staff, measuring and fitting patients for appropriate orthoses, and serving as a resource to staff regarding assigned areas of responsibility.Key Responsibilities:Fabricate specific orthoses and prostheses for inpatients and outpatients utilizing a variety of technical skills and knowledgeProvide appropriate direct patient care in a clinical setting under direction of the Orthotics/Prosthetics Manager and within established proceduresPerforms a variety of administrative and operational support functions for department and according to patient needsExpectations regarding policies and procedures of department, hospital and professional interactionRequired Responsibilities:1 year Orthotist, certified1 year ProstheticsAmerican Board for Certification and ProstheticsBoard for Orthotist/Prosthetist Certification (BOC)The pay range for this position is $48.70 - 73.05/hour.Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
