About the Role:

Pro Fit Prosthetics and Orthotics is looking for a passionate and skilled Certified Prosthetist Orthotist to join our dedicated team in West Berlin, NJ. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by delivering expert prosthetic and orthotic care in a supportive, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, assess, and treat patients requiring prosthetic and/or orthotic devices
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom prostheses and orthoses to meet individual patient needs
• Develop and document comprehensive patient care plans in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Provide patient education and training on the proper use and maintenance of devices
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with ABC/BOC and insurance requirements
• Stay current with advancements in prosthetic and orthotic technology, materials, and techniques

Requirements:

• Current ABC or BOC Certification as a Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) required
• Master's degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics or related field preferred
• Valid state licensure in New Jersey or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Experience in fitting and fabricating both upper and lower limb prostheses and orthoses
• Strong knowledge of L-code billing and insurance documentation processes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a clinical team
