To support accurate billing processes, the full-time remote Certified Professional Coder - Utah will evaluate and resolve coding edits in Epic, assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding classifications, and ensure compliance with billing guidelines. Key responsibilities Evaluates and resolves coding edits in Charge Review, Claim Edit, and Follow-up work queues in Epic Assigns appropriate ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding classifications based on clinical documentation and physician orders Communicates with providers regarding coding inquiries and maintains productivity standards Required qualifications CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or CCS-P (Certified Coding Specialist - Physician) certification Demonstrated experience in professional fee coding, including Evaluation & Management (E/M) services Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools Comprehensive knowledge of physician billing and healthcare revenue cycle
