To ensure compliance with coding standards, the full-time Certified Professional Coder - MD will manage the assignment of diagnostic and procedure coding, assist in resolving complex coding issues, and contribute to the development of educational materials, all while working remotely. Key responsibilities: Research and assign HCPCS Level II codes for ambulatory surgical and professional services Provide support to coding staff by resolving complex cases and issues Maintain knowledge of coding conventions and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance and appropriate reimbursement Required qualifications: Minimum five years of experience in a healthcare setting with proficiency in medical terminology Minimum four years of coding experience and knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements Associates degree in health administration, RHIT certification, or two years of related experience Certified Professional Coder or Certified Coding Specialist - Physician Based certification High school diploma or GED is required
