Certified Physician Coding Supervisor

Providing day-to-day operational and technical leadership, the full-time Certified Physician Coding Supervisor will supervise physician coders, ensuring accurate and compliant coding while supporting quality documentation practices in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Supervise and manage the performance of physician coders to ensure compliance with coding standards Collaborate with coding leadership and other departments to enhance coding quality and productivity Ensure adherence to CMS, AMA compliance, and payer-specific policies while supporting revenue integrity Required qualifications Associate Degree in Health Information Management or a related field, or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 years of professional physician coding experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), RHIT, RHIA, or equivalent Proficiency with coding software and electronic medical records (EMR) Strong leadership and organizational skills with a focus on integrity and attention to detail
