Leading complex payroll operations, the full-time Lead Payroll Specialist will ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing for multi-state and international payroll, while providing subject matter expertise and mentoring team members. Key responsibilities Oversee the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations Serve as a subject matter expert in payroll processes and tax regulations, guiding resolution strategies for complex issues Lead payroll reconciliations and audits, implementing sustainable controls in collaboration with Accounting Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation required 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, particularly in multi-state and/or international environments Advanced expertise in payroll processing and applicable federal, state, and international regulations Strong proficiency in payroll systems, including UKG (UltiPro) and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
