To support healthcare providers, the part-time Outpatient Pro Fee Coder will accurately abstract physician services from medical records using ICD-10 coding standards while working remotely for 20-30 hours per week. Key responsibilities: Utilizes technical coding expertise to review medical records and abstract physician services and diagnosis codes Follows Official Coding Guidelines to assign appropriate ICD-10 CM and ICD-10 codes with a minimum of 98% accuracy Provides documentation feedback to clients and collaborates with operational areas to resolve coding issues Required qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent Required AHIMA or AAPC Certification - CPC, CPC-M, CPMA, CEMC, or CCS-P preferred 1+ years of experience in outpatient profee medical coding Advanced knowledge of ICD-10 CM and ICD-10 coding Experience with Epic and proficiency in MS Office products
