Certified Outpatient Coding Specialist

To support a growing team, the full-time Certified Outpatient Coding Specialist will provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for multiple specialties while working remotely and maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity. Key responsibilities: Accurately apply diagnosis and procedure codes utilizing ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS Calculate ProFee and/or Facility E/M levels using company-provided algorithms Communicate professionally with clients to foster strong working relationships and support business interests Required qualifications: Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory Minimum of 2 years of coding experience is required Advanced knowledge of EMR and billing systems is essential Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is necessary Current coding materials such as CPT and ICD-10-CM references must be maintained
