Working remotely, the part-time Certified Outpatient Coding Auditor will conduct coding audits on various facility outpatient record types while leveraging expertise in surgical CPT coding and providing recommendations based on audit findings. Key responsibilities Perform coding audits on a variety of outpatient facility records Identify trends from coding audit findings and prepare final reports with recommendations Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders through conference calls Required qualifications AHIMA or AAPC certification 2-3 years of experience in outpatient facility audits and outpatient coding Expertise in surgical CPT coding Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments Strong quality consciousness in auditing processes
