We're seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our school-based team full-time. This rewarding opportunity allows you to work directly with students, helping them achieve greater independence and success in the classroom while collaborating with a supportive team of educators and therapists.
What You'll Do:
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans and support students in achieving their IEP goals.
- Assist with documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support student success.
- Help students improve fine motor, sensory, visual motor, self-care, and classroom participation skills.
- Contribute to creating positive learning environments that promote independence and confidence.
Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Active state COTA license or certification (or eligibility).
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
