CareNational is hiring a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for full-time, permanent positions with respected Long-Term Care / Post-Acute Rehab facilities in Roseburg, OR. This role is ideal for a compassionate professional who thrives in a collaborative rehab setting and is committed to helping patients regain independence in daily living activities.
Pay Details:
$30 - $35 per hour (DOE)
Position Details:

• Location: Roseburg, OR
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Shift: Variable | 5 x 8-hour shifts
• Hours: 40 per week
• Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Start Date: ASAP

Certification Requirements:

• Active Oregon COTA License (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in long-term care, post-acute rehab, or skilled nursing preferred
• Strong understanding of occupational therapy treatment techniques
• Ability to follow and implement treatment plans developed by a licensed OT
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong clinical documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed OT
• Assist patients with exercises and activities to promote independence in daily living
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Ensure treatment area is safe, organized, and supportive for therapy sessions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to achieve patient goals
• Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal standards
