Autumn Lake at Arlington West is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a motivated clinician who enjoys helping residents improve independence, confidence, and quality of life in a skilled nursing and post-acute care environment.
What You'll Do

• Deliver occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, coordination, balance, and functional mobility
• Implement individualized treatment plans and monitor resident progress
• Communicate resident status and treatment updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, and safety strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to provide high-quality resident care

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred but not required
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
