Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted CNA certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Long-term care experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable, compassionate, and committed to resident-centered care
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility
- Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident rooms and living areas
- Prepare resident rooms with necessary supplies and equipment
- Observe and report changes in resident conditions to the nursing team
- Accurately document care provided and resident observations
- Encourage resident independence, dignity, and social engagement
- Follow all state, federal, and facility regulations
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional care
