- Provide resident care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and individualized care plans
- Demonstrate competency in caring for residents with therapeutic, neurological, dementia-related, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care needs (as applicable)
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Ensure residents are out of bed and mobilized per their care plans
- Maintain a safe environment and promote resident comfort, dignity, and well-being
- Follow direction from the Charge Nurse and actively participate as a member of the interdisciplinary care team
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, coworkers, and clinical and ancillary staff
- Perform additional duties as assigned in support of resident care
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Must have completed a state-approved CNA training program and examination
- Certification documentation required upon application
