Saint Peter’s University Hospital is looking to hire a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) Hospitalist for the L&D and PET OB/GYN coverage.

Responsibilities

• Functionindependently but in collaboration with the attending physician andinterdisciplinary healthcare team to provide midwifery services to inpatients
• Responsiblefor the assessment, plan, implementation, and evaluation of nursemidwifery care delivered to the antepartum, intrapartum and post-partumand newborn patients as well
• Provideservices on varying shifts within the department in Labor and Delivery,PET Unit.
• Carefor intrapartum patients at the hospital in Labor and Delivery, PET and as needed by the Ob/Gyn physician team.

Schedule: 10 and12-hour shifts (days & nights) | Rotating schedule

Requirements

• Graduationfrom a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by the AccreditationCommission for Midwifery Education (ACME) (formerly known as the AmericanCollege of Nurse-Midwives Division of Accreditation)
• Master'sor doctoral degree
• CurrentCDS and DEA required
• Currentactive certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board or beactively seeking initial certification and obtain the same on the firstcertification for which they are eligible.
• Currentactive licensure to practice as a Certified Nurse Midwife in the nursemidwife category as per the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners.
• STABLEProgram Certification preferred.
• NeonatalResuscitation Provider (NRP) certified.
• CurrentBLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• NeonatalResuscitation Provider I (NRP) certification required, as approved by theAmerican Heart Association. NRP II (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider II)certification to be obtained during clinical orientation.

Salary Range

128,502.00 - 205,608.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
