We have 7 communities in three states including NY, OH, and PA.Position SummaryMedication Technicians assist in the administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the attending physician, the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Wellness Director. Duties also include providing assistance with activities of daily living to our residents.Essential Job FunctionsDeliver medications with the use of company chosen software to document resident electronic records.Assist residents with all activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eatingObserve and record resident's conditionProvide help with resident transferring in and out of bedClean rooms and change linensDeliver message, greet and direct visitors, answer phonesSupport PSL service goals to all our ResidentsHave compassion for and desire to work with the elderlyQualificationsHigh School Graduate or GEDCPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation.Meet all health requirements including TB including all required immunizations.Pass background check and random drug tests.
