Medication Aide
Medication Aide Responsibilities:
- Administer medications safely and accurately according to state and facility guidelines
- Monitor and document residents' responses to medications
- Assist nursing staff with daily resident care and health monitoring
- Communicate resident needs and changes clearly with the team
- Support residents with meals, hydration, and daily living activities
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and privacy standards
Qualifications
- Current CMA certification
- Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Schedule
- Full-time: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Rotating schedule with every other weekend off
