Certified Medical Coding Supervisor

To lead and coordinate team activities in a full-time remote capacity, the Certified Medical Coding Supervisor will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely claim submission while managing daily operations and overseeing the coding and charge capture process. Key responsibilities Oversee daily operations, monitoring workload and productivity to achieve accuracy and compliance goals Coordinate coding and quality audits, ensuring adherence to governmental regulations and reporting obligations Train and develop team members, addressing performance issues and managing HR-related duties such as hiring and termination Required qualifications High School graduate or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field or at least 8 years of experience in provider coding or billing required Minimum 3 years of recent supervisory experience and 3-5 years of relevant work experience Experience in a multi-specialty medical practice Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent coding certification required Bachelor's degree preferred
