Weekend Requirement: Must be comfortable working one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
Pay Rate : $35/hr on W2
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Coder with strong Outpatient and Emergency Department (ED) coding experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of outpatient coding experience , including experience coding in an emergency room setting
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 - 5 years of outpatient medical coding experience .
Emergency Room/ED coding experience required .
Acute care coding experience.
Proficiency with 3M Coding Application .
Knowledge of HDS Coding Application .
Knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9-CM and CPT-4.
Strong understanding of coding, payer, and federal billing guidelines.
Strong computer skills.
Ability to research and resolve coding issues.
certification CCS CCP AHIMA RHIA RHIT
High School Diploma/GED required.
English proficiency required.
