Hours: 35 hours/week
Weekend Requirement: Must be comfortable working one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
Pay Rate : $35/hr on W2
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Coder with strong Outpatient and Emergency Department (ED) coding experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of outpatient coding experience, including experience coding in an emergency room setting
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of outpatient medical coding experience.
- Emergency Room/ED coding experience required.
- Acute care coding experience.
- Proficiency with 3M Coding Application.
- Knowledge of HDS Coding Application.
- Knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9-CM and CPT-4.
- Strong understanding of coding, payer, and federal billing guidelines.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to research and resolve coding issues.
- certification CCS CCP AHIMA RHIA RHIT
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- English proficiency required.
