Certified Medical Coder (CPC)

To support a strategic benefit digitization initiative, the remote Certified Medical Coder (CPC) will apply standardized coding practices, maintain code updates, and collaborate on cross-functional projects within a contract role. Key responsibilities Apply formal and consistent coding standards to interpret and digitize benefit structures Develop and maintain groupings of procedures and service codes for accurate benefit alignment Ensure coding aligns with regulatory mandates and provide expert guidance to project teams Required qualifications Active Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification from AAPC or AHIMA 3+ years of experience with coding and reimbursement methodologies (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, CMS) Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
