Key responsibilities Receive and respond to prescription refill requests through various communication channels Verify the validity and accuracy of prescription refill requests and prepare refills following established protocols Compile and analyze data related to prescription refill processing and present findings to leadership Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy Extensive knowledge of Medicare Part D, including pharmacy record review and billing rules Working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules and CMS security requirements Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, with the ability to read, write, and speak both languages Current, unrestricted Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license and a nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification
