The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support patient care and clinical education in our Columbia location. The CMA will room patients, obtain vitals and histories, prepare exam areas, assist providers with procedures, administer medications per protocol, and perform phlebotomy and EKGs. This role supports teaching activities for students and residents, maintains accurate electronic health records, coordinates scheduling and referrals, and ensures compliance with safety and infection control standards.
The CMA will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, supporting MUSC’s mission of education, research, and compassionate care.
