Certified Medical Assistant - IA

To support regional clinical tasks remotely, the full-time Certified Medical Assistant - IA will manage Epic in-basket messaging, oversee patient orders and results, and facilitate timely follow-ups with clinics. Key responsibilities Assist in managing Epic in-basket tasks related to patient orders, results, and messages Provide appropriate documentation in the electronic medical record and support patient care delivery objectives Educate patients and families on testing values and next steps as directed by providers Required qualifications Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience 3-5 years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant for those from non-accredited programs Current CMA certification from AAMA, NCCT, AMT, or NHS BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification Previous clinical experience in a medical setting
