We are seeking a bilingual Certified Medical Assistant to support a single physician in a specialty clinic serving adult patients. This mostly clinical role combines patient intake, clinical documentation, care coordination, and essential administrative support.
Responsibilities
* Complete patient intake and collect medical histories.
* Measure and document vital signs.
* Perform medication reconciliation.
* Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
* Schedule patient appointments.
* Coordinate patient care.
* Communicate with adult patients bilingually.
Required Qualifications
* Entry-level experience in medical assisting.
* Certificate or diploma from an accredited medical assistant program.
* Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR).
* Knowledge of medical terminology.
* Understanding of HIPAA compliance.
* Proficiency in measuring vital signs.
* Bilingual communication skills.
* Strong patient communication skills.
* Clinical documentation skills.
* Positive and professional attitude, gentle and polite mannerism is must.
Preferred Qualifications
* Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential.
