To be considered, we require:
High school diploma or equivalency required; graduation from a medical assistant program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) is preferred.
Current certification as a certified medical assistant (CMA), clinical certified medical assistant (CCMA) or registered medical assistant (RMA).
Basic Life Support (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross or Military Training Network.
Minimum of one year of work experience in a clinical setting (cardiovascular or family medicine preferred); Nebraska Medication Aide registry listing is often preferred or required depending on the site.
