To support individuals recovering from substance use disorders, the full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will conduct member intakes, provide direct care, and assist with clinical and administrative tasks in a primarily virtual setting. Key Responsibilities Conduct initial member intake and assessments, monitoring for withdrawal symptoms and providing appropriate interventions Manage and document member information in electronic health records (EHR) systems while preparing examination areas for clinical procedures Schedule and coordinate member appointments, providing education on health maintenance and recovery resources Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or LPN program Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from a recognized certifying body Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in substance use disorder treatment or behavioral health Experience with EHR systems and medical documentation Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and basic laboratory procedures
